HR Generalist
Location: Corona, CA
Schedule: Full-time
Overview: The HR Generalist supports day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role helps ensure smooth HR operations and provides support to employees and leadership across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with full-cycle recruiting: posting jobs, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including paperwork, system entry, and orientation.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and payroll.
Assist with performance management, corrective actions, and employee relations issues.
Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and communication with employees.
Support HR initiatives such as training, engagement activities, and policy updates.
Prepare and maintain HR reports and metrics.
Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters.
Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in HR or related field.
Strong knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office.
Preferred (Not Required):
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification.
Experience in staffing, manufacturing, or high-volume environments.
