Our manufacturing client in the Mississauga area is looking for a hands-on, people-focused Logistics Manager to run our warehouse operations, keep inventory tight, and make sure products get where they need to go—on time, every time

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support our warehouse and storeroom team
• Set goals, track KPIs, and keep operations running efficiently
• Build processes and make improvements that move the business forward
• Monitor materials and ensure accurate transaction records
• Oversee cycle counts and fix discrepancies
• Make smart layout and space decisions to maximize storage
• Plan delivery schedules and drop shipments
• Coordinate with brokers, LTL/FTL carriers, couriers, and other partners
• Work closely with suppliers and customers to keep things on time and cost-effective
• Hire, train, mentor, and coach warehouse/logistics staff
• Provide feedback, handle escalations, and manage performance
• Support a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Support budgeting and cost management
• Prepare reports for senior management
• Stay up to date with logistics trends and bring forward new ideas

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field
• 2–5+ years in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain
• ERP experience (Epicor is a bonus!)
• Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Solid knowledge of logistics operations, transportation, and inventory management
