Express Employment Professionals Northeast San Antonio office is currently partnering with a leading metal supply client in the San Antonio area to place a Sales Associate on a long-term, temp-to-hire position. This role offers excellent potential for the chosen candidate to transition into a permanent role within the organization. Compensation for the position will be $20/hour, and work hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday

Essential Job Functions include:

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing guidance on product options and services to meet their needs.
• Handle inquiries across multiple channels (phone, in-person, and online) ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Prepare and follow up on quotes, confirm pricing details, and finalize orders with precision.
• Maintain inventory awareness and assist with stock-related tasks to support smooth operations.
• Build lasting relationships by delivering exceptional service and identifying opportunities for repeat business.
• Collaborate with team members and assist in other areas of the operation when needed.
• Take initiative to resolve customer issues and provide practical solutions.

Qualifications we are seeking entail:

• Must achieve a passing score on a pre-employment math assessment. (Assessment provided by Express)
• Minimum of one year of experience in a customer-facing or sales-related role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfortable using computers and performing basic math calculations accurately.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and adaptable approach in a fast-paced setting.
