Store Associate

Located in Charlotte, NC

Salary: $18/hr

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Sales Associate for our client located in South Charlotte, NC.

Pay is $18/hr. 1st shift hours 9am - 5pm / 9:30am - 5:30pm

Responsibilities of a Sales Associate: 

• Deliver exceptional customer service by providing expert product knowledge, recomendations and personlaized solutions for professional salon clients.
• Drive sales by acitvely promoting current promotions, product education and new launches.
• Execute daily store operations including cash handling, inventory restocking, point of sale transactions and visual merchandising.
• Open and close the store following the established procedure, ensuring all security and operational protocols are followed.
• Stay current on product lines, ingredients, usage and brand values to better educate customers and drive sales.

Requirements of a Sales Associate: 

• 1+ years of retail experience.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional, approachable demeanor.
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory procedures and store operations.
• Intrest or background in haircare, skincare or the professionial salon industry is highly PREFERRED.
• High school diploma or equivalent, cosmetology license a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements of a Sales Associate: 

• Ability to lift up to 25lbs on a consistent basis and stand for extended periods of time.
• Capability to bend, reach and climb ladders to restock shelves or merchandise displays.
