Position Summary:

The Mattress Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting mattresses at various stages of the production process to ensure they meet company and industry standards for quality, durability, and appearance. This role is essential to maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect completed mattresses for defects in stitching, fabric, seams, labeling, and overall structure

• Perform in-process checks during production to ensure compliance with quality standards

• Use measuring tools to verify correct dimensions and proper construction

• Report defects or issues to production supervisors and recommend rework or rejection

• Document inspection results and maintain quality control records

• Ensure all products meet company specifications before being packaged and shipped

• Communicate effectively with production staff and quality team to maintain workflow

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in quality control or manufacturing environment preferred

• Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 70 lbs

• Basic math and measurement skills

• Ability to read and understand product specifications and inspection criteria

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
