Position Summary
Our Client is seeking a Falkbuilt Technician! The Falkbuilt Technician supports the installation and execution of all Falkbuilt interior construction solutions. This role works closely with the Lead Technician to manage tasks such as receiving materials, unloading and staging products, installation, site cleanup, punch list completion, and service-related activities. The technician is responsible for clear communication with supervisors and project managers and must strictly adhere to all safety guidelines established by customers, contractors, and site leadership.
Note: When Falkbuilt-specific work is not required, this position may assist furniture installation teams as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Falkbuilt installation team with all field-related activities to ensure successful project completion.
- Follow direction from the Lead Technician and Project Manager, contributing to effective job site coordination and applying problem-solving skills.
- Communicate issues, concerns, and updates professionally to internal team members and external partners.
- Verify and prepare accurate wall layout measurements prior to installation.
- Work collaboratively with subcontractors and provide guidance as needed to keep projects on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout all phases of work.
- Take on-site measurements and confirm dimensions when required.
- Install, adjust, relocate, repair, clean, and troubleshoot Falkbuilt components and systems.
- Provide support to the furniture installation team when Falkbuilt work is not active.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a team.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials/equipment and maintain full mobility of upper and lower body.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Ability to complete required job site safety certifications.
- Basic knowledge of tools and safe operation practices.
- 1–3 years of experience in construction, installation, or a related field.
Position Requirements
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory or region as needed.
- Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.
- Proficiency with basic tools and equipment used in installation and construction.
