MIG Welder – Full-Time | Evaluation to Hire | Evening/Overnight Shift
Location: Lafayette, IN (On-site)
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Schedule: Evening/Overnight (Monday–Friday)

 

Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced MIG Welders for a local manufacturing company. This is a full-time evaluation-to-hire role, meaning you start as a temporary associate with the opportunity to be hired permanently. Benefits become available once hired by the company.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel assemblies (manual and robotic)

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately

• Operate lift trucks to move materials

• Meet production schedules and quality standards

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety protocols

• Work independently and as part of a team

What You Need:

• Prior MIG welding experience and ability to pass a 1G weld test

• High school diploma or GED

• 3+ years in manufacturing preferred

• Strong attendance and work ethic

• Able to work overnight shift and overtime as needed

• Reliable transportation to Lafayette, IN
