Express Employment Professionals is working with a local company to hire experienced welders/fabricators.  This is an evaluation hire opportunity.

 

Job Title:  Experienced Welder/Fabricator- 3-5 years of continuous experience

Wage: $20-$24/hour - based on experience

Hours: 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday

 

The fabricator operates fabricating machines such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines and punches that cut, shape and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes and structures by performing the duties listed below:

 

 

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 

                                               

• Operate fabrication shop machinery and equipment.
• Read job information sheets (JIS) to attain expected results.
• Accurately measure workpiece dimensions based on blueprint specifications.
• Remove burrs and sharp edges from workpiece.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Verify final piece meets quality expectations for job.
• Report or record completed items through remote link.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervision.

 

 

Job requirements include:

• HSD/GED, or 3 years of relevant experience is required
• Ability to pass welder qualification test
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs throughout shift
• Ability to follow all safety policies and protocols
• Must be a team player
