Hiring Full Time Sign Estimator
Location: Marietta
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour Lunch Break)
Pay rate: $25.00/hour

Overview:
The Estimator will be responsible for the design, architectural plan take-offs, estimation, and
coordination of aluminum canopy systems and signage projects. This role requires a unique
blend of technical design skills, customer interaction, and collaboration with internal teams to
ensure successful project delivery from concept through fabrication.

Qualifications:

MUST have Sign Manufacturing Experience.
Proficient with design programs commonly used in the sign industry (e.g., AutoCAD,
Adobe Illustrator, Flexi Design or similar).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the sign industry or aluminum canopy
design/fabrication.
Strong understanding of structural principles, materials, and fabrication processes related
to signage and canopy systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Design & Estimation
Develop detailed designs and technical drawings for custom aluminum canopy systems
and signage using industry-standard design software.
Generate accurate project estimates, including materials, labor, and fabrication costs.
Interpret architectural plans and site conditions to inform design decisions and ensure
structural viability.

Project Coordination & Communication
As a liaison between sales, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure clear
communication and alignment on project specifications.
Provide design documentation and fabrication-ready files to internal teams.
Conduct pre-production reviews to identify and resolve potential challenges.
Customer Interaction
Work directly with clients to understand their design needs, functional requirements, and
site constraints.
Present design concepts and technical recommendations in a clear and professional
manner.
Support the sales team with technical expertise during proposal and post-sale phases.
Team Collaboration
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure project timelines
and quality standards are met.
Participate in job site evaluations and installation planning as needed.
Assist in developing standards for canopy design and fabrication.
