Shift: Second Shift — Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM (occasional OT)

About the Role

A growing, technology-forward plastic and processing manufacturer is seeking a Machine Operator to join its Fabrication Department. This position is responsible for operating Punch Cut machines and supporting overall production to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency. CNC experience is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Punch Cut machines according to order specifications and supervisor instructions

• Log into production software at shift start; review and manage scheduled jobs

• Verify staged materials and ensure correct grouping for production

• Perform routine equipment checks; assist with preventive maintenance as directed

• Report machine issues immediately to the Fabrication Supervisor

• Maintain accurate job and production data in company software

• Follow PPE requirements; maintain a clean and organized work area

• Communicate any staging, machine, or order-related issues before shift end

• Meet defined output goals while maintaining strong quality standards

• Assist with boxing, labeling, and other logistics-related tasks

• Adhere to OSHA and internal safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)

• Experience operating automated machinery and HMI systems — training available for entry-level candidates

• CNC experience is a plus

• Basic mechanical aptitude

• Experience with boxing, labeling, or logistics tasks

• Ability to read and follow production orders and system instructions

• Comfortable performing moderate physical tasks; lift-assist equipment provided for heavier materials
