Pay: $20–$25 per hour Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
We are seeking an experienced Stamping Press Set-Up Technician with strong knowledge of large progressive dies and metal stamping press operations. This is a full-time, first-shift role ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in industrial metal stamping environments.
Perform set-ups for large progressive dies in large metal stamping presses
Set dies in stamping presses and produce samples to specification
Complete job set-ups including:
Setting/adjusting lubrication systems
Adjusting part eject and collection systems
Adjusting safety systems
Operate basic stamping press equipment
Use QC measurement devices and gauges
Perform defect identification and produce required documentation
Read and interpret blueprints
Use precise measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, plug gauges)
Lift up to 50 lbs and perform moderate climbing to adjust dies or materials
Solid 2–3 years of experience setting large progressive dies in metal stamping presses
Valid experience must be specifically in metal stamping
The following do NOT count as valid experience (per your notes):
CNC machining
Plastic injection molding
Basic machine operation on non-metal stamping presses
