Seafood Processing Line Worker
Breaux Bridge, LA | Full-Time | $12.68 / Hr. + Overtime

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Seafood Processing Line Workers for a large seafood supplier in the Breaux Bridge area. This role is essential in ensuring seafood products are properly prepared, processed, and packaged to meet company and USDA quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean, cut, and prepare seafood for packaging
Operate production machinery (breading, frying, freezing)
Inspect products for quality and consistency
Ensure all seafood meets USDA and company guidelines
Weigh, label, and package finished products
Stack and move boxes for shipment
Follow strict food safety and sanitation procedures
Wear required protective gear (gloves, aprons, hairnets)

Qualifications & Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
Physical stamina for lifting and handling seafood products
Comfort working in cold, loud, and wet environments
Basic understanding of food safety practices
No formal education required — on-the-job training provided
Applicants with Spanish language proficiency are strongly encouraged to apply

Uniform / Attire:

Black or navy pants/jeans in good condition (no holes/rips)
Black or navy sweaters (no hoodies)
No jewelry, buttons, nail polish, lashes, or artificial nails
Long hair must be tied up and secured under a hairnet
All protective gear provided: smock, sleeves, gloves, boots, hair net/beard snoot

Work Schedule

Full-Time – Shrimp processing runs 24/7 during peak season with two available shifts:

Morning Shift:
Mon-Fri; 5:00 AM Start
10–12+ hour shifts depending on production
2 breaks + 45-minute lunch
Food truck on-site or option to leave for lunch

Evening Shift:
Mon-Fri; 6:00 PM Start
10–12+ hour shifts depending on production
2 breaks + 45-minute lunch
Bring your meal or leave for lunch
