Temporary Labor Support – Delivery & Install Assistant

Salary: $18/hr - $20/hr

Location: Weaverville
Schedule: 8:30am to 6pm (end time could fluctuate), Temporary (30-day assignment)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labor Support – Delivery & Install Assistant to join our team for a temporary 30-day assignment. This role will support the delivery and installation of premium home leisure products, including hot tubs, fireplaces, swimming pools, and related equipment. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-minded, and able to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist delivery team with loading, unloading, and transporting hot tubs, fireplaces, swimming pool materials, and other products.
• Support installation crews by carrying materials, prepping work areas, and helping with basic assembly tasks.
• Safely operate hand tools, moving equipment, and lifting straps as needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and equipment handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, shop area, and vehicles.
• Communicate professionally with team members and customers on job sites.
• Perform additional labor or support tasks as assigned by the Delivery/Install Lead.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in general labor, warehouse, construction, delivery, or installation preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and repeatedly throughout the day.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full 30-day assignment.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, hands-on labor environment.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and working in tight spaces.
• Indoor and outdoor job sites depending on the installation type.

Compensation

Pay: $18/hour to $20/hour (based on experience)
