WHAT YOU’LL DO
This full-time role is responsible for leading daily operations on the shop floor and supervising shop floor associates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll plan work, coordinate schedules, implement procedures, and drive continuous improvement efforts that keep production running smoothly and safely.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Enforce safety regulations and eliminate hazards promptly

Manage production schedules and staffing needs to hit daily targets

Troubleshoot equipment issues to reduce downtime

Ensure materials, processes, and output meet quality standards

Train, observe, and coach team members to ensure safe, consistent performance

Track and communicate lean metrics to leadership

Support and participate in Kaizen and 3P events
-
Oversee HR-related actions such as hiring, training, reviews, and corrective action

Lead and support process improvement initiatives
-
Prioritize departmental and plant-level goals

WHAT YOU BRING
Education:
Experience & Skills:
-
Background in assembly or installation of truck, cargo, or mechanical equipment is a plus
-
Comfortable with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software
-
Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools (Kaizen, 3P, 6S, SQDC metrics)

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
-
Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with follow-through
-
Strong communicator and team-focused leader
-
Comfortable being present on the shop floor, overseeing active production
WORK ENVIRONMENT
You’ll spend most of your day on the shop floor around moving equipment, noise, heat, and other typical manufacturing conditions. Proper PPE is required. If you thrive in a dynamic, hands-on, fast-moving environment, you’ll feel right at home.
