Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced Tax Preparer for the upcoming tax season. This is a fully in-person role with the potential to transition into a permanent position. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience preparing tax returns, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work directly with clients during peak tax periods. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely federal and state individual tax returns
• Review and organize tax documents including W-2s, 1099s, deductions, and income statements
• Use Microsoft Office, Cloud Work, and Cross Link or similar tax preparation software
• Ensure complete and compliant filings following IRS guidelines
• Assist clients by answering basic tax-related questions and providing a professional preparation experience

• Minimum 1 year of professional tax preparation experience
• Strong understanding of IRS regulations, tax credits, deductions, and filing requirements
• Proficiency with tax preparation software and ability to navigate multiple systems
