This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience preparing individual tax returns, reviewing tax documents, and using professional tax preparation software. The position supports high-volume tax filing during peak season and requires strong accuracy and client service skills.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Return Preparation:
Prepare accurate federal and state individual tax returns following IRS guidelines and established tax procedures.

Document Review:
Collect, verify, and organize tax documents including W-2s, 1099s, deductions, and income statements to ensure complete and compliant filings.

Software Utilization:
Use Microsoft Office, Cloud Work, and Cross Link or similar tax preparation software to prepare and process returns efficiently.

Seasonal Workload:
Work 25–40 hours per week depending on client demand during peak tax season.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:
Minimum 1 year of professional experience in tax preparation, including filing basic and intermediate-level returns.

Knowledge:
Strong understanding of current IRS regulations, tax credits, deductions, and filing requirements for individuals.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency with tax preparation software and the ability to navigate multiple digital systems.

Client Service:
Ability to communicate clearly with clients, answer basic tax questions, and provide a professional and accurate tax preparation experience.
