Quality Associate II (A2131)

Salary: $18.00/hr

Our client in Willoughby is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector II to perform inspections on parts and assemblies throughout various stages of production. This role ensures that all products meet established quality and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform final, first-piece, and in-process inspections on a variety of parts and assemblies.

• Use a range of measurement tools and inspection equipment to verify product quality according to established procedures and tolerances.

• Accurately document inspection data and complete required quality reports.

• Make clear, confident decisions regarding product acceptance or rejection.

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with production teams to resolve quality concerns quickly.

• Support and guide operators in performing in-process inspections.

• Conduct random floor audits to ensure process and product compliance.

• Maintain a clean, organized inspection area and properly care for inspection tools and equipment.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, offering feedback and ideas for process enhancements.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Perform additional related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing or quality inspection preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and inspection procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Familiarity with basic measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Commitment to following quality and safety standards.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6AM to 3:00PM M-F
