ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Manufacturing Laborer, the incumbent filling the role has the following responsibilities:
1. Perform tasks and duties as assigned by the manufacturing Lead or Production Manager
2. Use tools and fixtures to prepare and polish parts
3. Prepare parts through deburring, rough grinding, finish grinding and fine sanding
4. Polish parts with the appropriate compounds and polishing wheels
5. Retrieve parts from stock to ensure workstation is supplied for the entire shift
6. Communicate inventory issues to supervisor
7. Recognize and communicate defects to supervisor to maintain quality standards for all production
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including proper storage of tools and materials
9. Document and report out on performance for operational tracking and reporting
10. Ad Hoc requests as necessary to support production and operations
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
An understanding of the manufacturing processes and requirements for producing floor cleaning machines. Experiential or educational knowledge of the operational needs of a machine manufacturing process. Exception skill and capability to manage the daily requirements and balance the short-term and long-term needs of production.

Preferred Skills
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Bilingual is a plus
• Experience working in a production environment
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Effective time management of daily tasks

PERFORMANCE
Ability to read and write in English, Ability to stand for up to 8 consecutive hours with regular breaks, ability to lift unassisted up to 50 lbs., ability to use hand tools and power tools in a safe manor, ability to understand and use PPE appropriately
