Assembler – Electronic Assembly

Location: Waterloo, ON

Pay: $20-22/hour

Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

Own transportation required (no transit access to the location)

Position will lead to permanent and long-term employment for the right candidate!

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our client’s production team, specializing in the assembly of electronic controllers for electric vehicles (EVs). This role involves performing both electrical and mechanical assembly work, ensuring products meet our quality standards. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn—training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

· Assemble DC and AC electronic controllers for electric vehicles

· Follow written and verbal instructions for assembly, inspection, and quality assurance

· Perform mechanical and electrical tasks using hand tools and testing equipment

· Work closely with team members and under the guidance of a production manager

· Conduct general labour tasks as required in the assembly process

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace

· Always adhere to safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

· Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or in a team

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Willingness to undergo training and learn technical assembly processes

· Able to lift up to 50 lbs as part of regular duties

· Must pass a reference check prior to employment

· Previous experience in electronic or mechanical assembly is an asset, but not required
