Job Overview

The Part-Time Telephone Customer Service Representative provides professional and efficient support to donors and callers. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, providing accurate information regarding donation requirements, and updating donor records. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high call volume while delivering excellent customer service. 

Key Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming calls and provide donors with information about eligibility, donation requirements, and blood drive locations.
  • Make outbound calls to remind donors of appointments and encourage repeat donations
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel donor appointments using the internal system.
  • Verify and update donor records while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Assist with call logs, reports, and donor outreach campaigns as needed.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of telephone-based customer service experience (required).
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls efficiently and professionally.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with data entry or scheduling software.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (required); some college coursework or Associate’s degree is a plus
