Accounting Manager – Distribution Company

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 annually

Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the accounting team, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax regulations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff to ensure high performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in distribution or manufacturing industry is a plus.
