Duties
- Manage and process incoming payments through various channels using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and PeopleSoft
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies through effective analysis and negotiation
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to update account information and payment records
- Prepare and send invoices, statements, and follow-up communications to clients
- Conduct account analysis to identify overdue payments and initiate collection efforts
- Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure proper account reconciliation
- Maintain detailed documentation of all transactions for audit purposes
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries via phone or email, adhering to professional phone etiquette
- Assist in month-end closing processes and generate reports related to accounts receivable aging and collections status
Skills
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and PeopleSoft is required
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes
