A distributor in Vacaville is seeking a Shipping Coordinator. This is a long-term opportunity  position. The pay is $22.00 an hour. 

 

 Duties:

• Prepare shipping orders for processing as received by Transportation Department
• Schedule appointments for carriers
• Process shipping orders per system requirements and established departmental procedures.
• Research and provide proof of delivery claims as requested.
• Promptly check-in truck drivers as they arrive.
• Serve as back-up for Logistics Coordinator as needed.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Perform routine clerical duties to support the department.
• Follow internal controls (SOX requirements) and all other company policies and procedures.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Minimum two (2) years clerical experience.
• Ability to operate basic office equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service.
• Must be able to effectively prioritize workload.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
Beneficial Qualifications
• Experience with SAP.
