Trim Tech Technician

Salary: $18.00

Trim Technician 

 

• Using power and hand tools 
• Reassemble and Install inside of vehicle according to manufacturing specifications
• Attach finishes, including buttons, trim, tassels and other decorative accessories, to complete orders according to specifications
• Read work orders and ensure that quality standards are met. 
• Inspect  quality to ensure vehicle meets standards 

Required:

• The ability to stand, walk and move for up to eight hours per day
• Previous experience as a handyman 
• Must pass criminal background check and drug testing
• Must be a US Resident or Citizen to qualify for security clearance
• Able to work in an organized and effective manner while keeping track of time, job objectives, job quality, job safety in a clutter-free environment.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to understand part number documentation and basic engineering drawings.
• Must be able to use hand tools, saws, spray guns, grinders, and sanding tools.
• Able to apply and work with Bondo type materials to shape trim panels.
• Able to work and install Kevlar materials on vehicles.
• Capable of using beginner skills in upholstery.
• Able to upholster the swing door.
• Able to install swing door and swing door glass.
