Industrial Electrician

Salary: $42.00-$45.00

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team and ensure the reliable operation of our electrical systems across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical work, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and experience working with low voltage systems. This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment, supporting the overall safety and efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Install, repair, and maintain wiring, fixtures, motors, and control panels
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and construction drawings accurately
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment safely and effectively
• Work with low voltage systems as required for various operational needs
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure minimal downtime of machinery
• Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work and construction standards

Experience

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or maintenance electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Familiarity with low voltage systems and electrical codes applicable to industrial environments
• Background in construction or related fields is a plus
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
