Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mill/Lathe Operator to join our machining team. This role is responsible for operating manual or CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate has machining experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual and/or CNC mills and lathes

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders

• Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications

• Adjust machine speeds, feeds, offsets, and tooling as needed

• Maintain accurate production documentation and quality records

• Perform routine machine maintenance and notify supervisors of any issues

• Ensure all parts meet quality standards before moving to the next stage

• Keep work area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety rules

Requirements:

• Prior experience operating mills and lathes (manual or CNC) required

• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

• Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining certification or trade school a plus
