A local construction and traffic control company is seeking dependable Flaggers to help maintain safe traffic flow through work zones. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, supporting roadway safety, and being part of a high-performing team.
Direct and control traffic at construction sites using stop/slow paddles and hand signals
Set up, maintain, and remove signage, cones, and barricades
Communicate clearly with crew members, drivers, and pedestrians to ensure safety
Monitor work zones and respond quickly to changing traffic conditions
Provide assistance to construction or road crews as needed
Maintain safe distances between workers, equipment, and passing vehicles
Follow all safety regulations, company procedures, and TXDOT guidelines
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to stand for long periods and lift 30–50 lbs
Strong communication skills and ability to give clear instructions
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Must pass background check and drug screen (client specific)
Traffic Control/Flagger certification preferred (Express can assist with training if needed)
Steel-toe boots required
Safety-minded and alert at all times
Comfortable working around traffic and heavy equipment
Dependable with strong attendance
Able to work long hours and overtime when needed
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Weekly pay through Express Employment Professionals
