Tire and Lube Tech 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, fluid top-offs, and other routine maintenance services.
• Inspect, rotate, balance, and install tires.
• Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, and other basic vehicle components.
• Assist in vehicle inspections and report any issues to the service manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service bay and tools.
• Follow proper safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
• Assist senior technicians with minor mechanical tasks as needed.
• Ensure vehicles are properly prepared for resale or delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in oil changes, tire services, and basic vehicle maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in a shop environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
