A globally recognized multinational company delivering cutting-edge solutions in pharmaceutical and medical manufacturing and packaging, with a strong foundation in innovation, compliance, and client satisfaction is seeking a Production Lead to join their team in Chatsworth.

 

Summary: The Production Lead will oversee daily production activities to ensure efficient operations, high product quality, and compliance with FDA, GMP, and company standards. This role is responsible for coordinating production staff, monitoring workflow, optimizing processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coordinate, and support production team members to meet daily manufacturing and packaging schedules.
  • Ensure all production processes comply with GMP, safety protocols, and company SOPs.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate concerns to management as needed.
  • Monitor workflow, equipment performance, and material usage to optimize efficiency.
  • Train and mentor production staff on procedures, quality standards, and equipment operation.
  • Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, and reporting.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized production environment in accordance with regulatory requirements.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and leadership experience required.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, FDA regulations, and cleanroom adherence.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate production teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and follow SOPs, batch records, and technical documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and safety.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods, as required by production activities.
