Service Specialist

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Service Specialist for a fast-paced, customer-focused shop in Grand Rapids, MN. This is a great opportunity for someone with Parts Associate experience or general mechanical knowledge who enjoys keeping things organized and helping customers understand their service needs.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Pay: Starting at $20/hour, depending on experience

Do you enjoy helping customers, keeping service details straight, and making sure everything in the shop runs smoothly? If so, this role has your name on it.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet customers and write up service requests
• Translate customer concerns into clear, accurate work instructions
• Coordinate with technicians and manage daily workflow
• Use computer systems to schedule services, track work orders, and learn new shop software
• Communicate with customers throughout the service process to ensure a great experience

What We’re Looking For:

• General mechanical understanding (any industry is helpful)
• Previous Parts Associate experience or experience writing purchase orders is a plus
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
• Positive, professional attitude and ability to work well with both customers and internal teams
