Currently seeking Maintenance Technicians to work in Douglas County.

 

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Routine building maintenance: regularly inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify issues and plan corrective actions.
• Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and lighting; change  filters, oil motors, inspect equipment, and perform routine checks to ensure smooth operation, fix or replace faulty light fixtures, outlets, plumbing (faucets, leaks), drywall, flooring, and hardware (locks, hinges). Check and install Life-safety and security alarm systems.
• Coordination with external vendors for maintenance facilities: keep detailed logs of work performed, create work orders, and manage inventory of supplies. Liaise with tenants, supervisors, vendors, and contractors; potentially oversee seasonal or junior staff. 
• Emergency restoration: responding to maintenance requests and emergencies. 
• Utilities, telephone, internet connectivity
• Minor repair: perform painting, cleaning, trash removal, snow removal, and light landscaping duties.
• Removing or moving furniture or equipment: moving furniture, setting up equipment, and assisting with remodels.
• On-call response to building emergencies and restoration management
• Ability to lift up to and carry 50lbs, bend, stoop and twist.

 

Must have Oregon Driver’s License with Clean Driving Record
