Type: Full-Time, Seasonal

Pay: $25 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm (Swing Shift)

 Job Details: The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring compliance with all Quality requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The majority of this role is spent on the production floor, with occasional computer work involving email, basic MS Excel, and Word. This position reports to a Supervisor and works with other QA team members, Lead Operators, and production staff to maintain product quality and safety.

Responsibilities: 

- Perform hourly quality checks on each production line.
- Perform hourly reviews of production line paperwork.
- Inspect food production equipment for cleanliness prior to product changeovers (infrequent).
- Collect, label, and store product retention samples.
- Work with the Supervisor to isolate product that does not meet quality standards.
- Complete paperwork for product and ingredient holds.
- Pull ingredient samples arriving on swing shift as needed (infrequent).

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must undergo pre-employment background screening.
  - Previous experience in a similar role required. 
  - Ability to comply with safety rules, policies, and practices.
  - Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  - Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  - Consistent attendance and punctuality.
  - Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  - Effective verbal communication skills.
  - Ability to work independently without constant supervision.

Work Environment:

Typical manufacturing environment with some airborne product dust during clean-downs and warmer temperatures during peak summer months.
