Key Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner

• Process payments, post daily receipts, and reconcile customer accounts

• Monitor outstanding balances and perform proactive collections on past-due accounts

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, project-related invoice issues, and payment conflicts

• Work closely with project managers, estimators, and field staff to verify billing details

• Maintain accurate job cost records and support month-end closing activities

• Prepare aging reports and provide regular updates to management

• Assist with lien releases, waivers, and other construction-related financial documents

• Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience (construction industry preferred)

• Strong understanding of billing processes, job costing, and progress billing

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal teams

• Familiarity with construction documents (purchase orders, contracts, lien waivers) a plus
