Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst provides internal customer support across multiple information systems that power daily business operations. This role requires someone who can learn new technologies quickly, understand workflows end-to-end, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement. The analyst will support the ERP/financial platform, CRM system, reporting tools, and related sub-systems while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and strong communication across departments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user support for system functionality and best practices while maintaining data and database integrity across the ERP, CRM, reporting tools, and related systems.
  • Manage and maintain user accounts, ensuring proper access, security, and documentation.
  • Create, analyze, and interpret data and reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Consult with internal customers to gather requirements, understand workflows, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
  • Evaluate how system changes or user requests impact upstream and downstream processes, integrations, and data flows.
  • Coordinate with IT teams and external support partners as needed.
  • Assist with user training, documentation, and development of accessible training materials.
  • Support functional testing for new implementations, upgrades, and system changes.
  • Demonstrate initiative by identifying improvement opportunities and taking ownership of tasks and outcomes.
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams, building strong, collaborative relationships.

Travel

  • Occasional travel may be required to additional U.S. or international locations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to provide professional, timely, and customer-focused support.
  • Experience supporting software applications in an operational or technical environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to become proficient in enterprise-wide systems and effectively train others.
  • Ability to work successfully with both IT and business teams.
  • Strong initiative, eagerness to learn, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • A proactive, responsive mindset with the ability to ask the right questions and escalate when appropriate.

Experience Desired

  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, financial, or operational systems
  • Experience creating reports/dashboards using Crystal Reports or BI tools (Power BI, Domo, Tableau)
  • Experience with data mapping, validation, or transformation for system migrations or integrations
  • Understanding of core business processes

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
