Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and prepare patients for examination or procedures.

• Record patient history, vital signs, and other pertinent health information.

• Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.

• Administer medications or injections as directed by the provider.

• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens; perform basic laboratory tests.

• Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and verify insurance information.

• Maintain patient charts, update electronic health records (EHR), and ensure confidentiality.

• Clean and sterilize instruments, and maintain exam rooms and medical supplies.

• Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and follow-up care.

• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Prior Dermatology experience is required.
• Experience with the EMR system ModMed. 
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

• Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer applications.
