Title: CNC Machine Operator (2^nd Shift)

Location: Tyngsborough, MA

Starting Salary: $23 - $30/hour

Hours: 4 pm – 2:30 am Monday – Thursday

 

This is a full-time, evaluation hire position

 

Our Express client is looking for a CNC Machine Operator who will be responsible responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. This role supports production efficiency and quality through accurate machining, inspection, and documentation. Ideal candidates are experienced with CNC milling or turning operations and demonstrate strong problem-solving, quality-checking, and communication skills.

 

Responsibilities

• Read and follow routers, blueprints, and work instructions to plan and complete assigned work.
• Operate one or more types of CNC equipment, including mills or lathes.
• Load and unload parts according to defined cycle times and part specifications.
• Select proper machine settings and make offsets or adjustments as needed.
• Perform tool changes based on wear or part-specific requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2+ years’ operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, routers, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with standard measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with G/M code programs.
