About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team and perform maintenance and repair work on a variety of heavy equipment, including loaders, excavators, bulldozers, forklifts, and diesel-powered machinery. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and skilled in diagnosing mechanical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy diesel equipment

Inspect engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and brake systems

Troubleshoot issues using proper testing tools and equipment

Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records

Follow all safety standards and company procedures

Communicate effectively with supervisors and equipment operators about repair needs
Qualifications:
-
4+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic (heavy equipment preferred)

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
-
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
-
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus but not required)

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various outdoor conditions

Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
-
Experience with Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, or similar equipment

Welding and fabrication skills
-
ASE or other mechanic certifications
