Our client in Mentor, OH is seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the movement of materials and products within our facility to ensure efficient operations.

 

Location: Mentor, OH

Pay: $19.00

Shift: 1st 5AM - 2:30PM (OT OFFERED ON SATURDAYS)

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Movement: Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production area.
• Inventory Management: Assist in tracking inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies.
• Order Fulfillment: Prepare and process orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Quality Control: Inspect materials and products for quality and report any defects or issues.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in material handling or a related field is preferred.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and recording materials.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
