Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Seasonal Tax Preparer to support a professional tax and accounting office in the St. Louis City area. This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in tax preparation, accounting support, and hands-on experience working with personal income tax returns. Candidates with tax experience, bookkeeping backgrounds, or accounting coursework are encouraged to apply; however, entry-level applicants and CPA/EA candidates are also welcome.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with preparing individual federal and state income tax returns in accordance with IRS guidelines
• Review client documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Enter financial data into professional tax preparation software
• Communicate with clients to clarify information and collect missing documentation
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential client records

What We’re Looking For
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial information
• Ability to learn standard tax preparation procedures (training provided if needed)
• Clear, professional communication skills with clients and team members
• Proficiency with computers, data entry, and software systems
