Job Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain Excel VBA programs, macros, and automated tools for claims and operational workflows

• Streamline existing spreadsheets used for claim tracking, billing, auditing, and reporting

• Build user-friendly dashboards, forms, and automated reports used across claims and compliance teams

• Troubleshoot and resolve VBA errors, formula issues, and data irregularities

• Document automation processes, code logic, and workflow instructions for staff

• Collaborate across departments (claims, admin, data, QA) to understand process needs and build solutions

• Ensure accuracy and data integrity in all tools used for workers’ comp claim handling

• Support administrative data tasks as needed

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Excel VBA, macro development, and advanced Excel functions

• Experience supporting data-heavy or compliance-based workflows (workers’ comp, insurance, medical billing, or similar fields preferred)

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in programming, analytics, or automation

• Ability to debug and optimize complex code

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• High school diploma required; additional technical coursework or certifications are a plus
