About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Emergency Vehicle Equipment Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, wiring, and testing specialized equipment that goes into emergency vehicles such as police units, fire department vehicles, and ambulances. This position plays a key part in ensuring first responders have safe, reliable, and fully operational equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and mount equipment including lights, sirens, communication systems, cameras, consoles, and related components

  • Run wiring, connect electrical systems, and verify proper functionality

  • Read and follow installation manuals, schematics, and work orders

  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets safety and quality standards

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs

  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in equipment installation, automotive electrical work, or a related field preferred

  • Basic knowledge of 12V electrical systems and wiring

  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various vehicle environments

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow detailed instructions
