Production Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our manufacturing team in the parts bay area. This is a first shift position offering competitive pay at $18 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage materials in the parts bay area
• Safely operate forklift and overhead crane equipment to move materials and components
• Read, interpret, and work from technical blueprints and engineering drawings
• Operate various fabrication equipment including iron worker, mag drills, plasma cutters, and oxy-acetylene torches
• Perform cutting, drilling, and fabrication tasks according to specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Required Qualifications

• Current forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Proven experience operating overhead cranes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Demonstrated proficiency with iron worker, mag drills, plasma cutters, and oxy-acetylene torches
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: 1st Shift
• Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
