Inventory/Quality Inspector (A2142)

Salary: $20-$22 an hour

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory/Quality Inspector to support daily warehouse operations in a food/produce environment. This role requires strong accuracy, initiative, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

 

Inventory / Quality Inspector – 1st Shift (Sat–Tues)
Location: Willoughby Hills, OH
Start Time: 5:00 AM (end time varies based on load volume and operational needs)

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inventory counts and reconcile product quantities.

• Inspect incoming and outgoing food/produce loads for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards.

• Operate a forklift to move, organize, and verify product.

• Document inventory and inspection results using computer systems.

• Identify discrepancies, report issues, and support continuous improvement efforts.

• Assist with cross-training in other warehouse tasks as needed.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Previous inventory or quality inspection experience in a food, produce, or warehouse environment required.

• Forklift experience required.

• Strong math skills and ability to perform accurate counts.

• Computer-savvy—comfortable using basic software, data entry, and documentation tools.

• Must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and cross-train.

• Ability to work in varying temperatures (produce environment).

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
