Construction Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of residential construction projects, including foundation work, framing, utilities, inspections, and final finishes.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

• Work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors to ensure timely and accurate project execution.

• Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.

• Manage materials and equipment procurement while maintaining cost control.

• Identify and resolve project delays, conflicts, and on-site issues.

• Provide accurate progress reports and updates to leadership and clients.

• Ensure all work meets applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of construction management experience overseeing residential projects from foundation through completion.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).

• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).

• Ability to pass a background check.

• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and permitting processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• OSHA certification or other safety training.

• Experience managing multiple residential projects at once.
