The Assembly Operator performs entry-level, repetitive bench or line assembly tasks to manufacture products and components in accordance with established specifications and quality standards. This role is essential to ensuring efficient production flow and adherence to company safety and performance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret technical documents: Read and follow blueprints, routers, specifications, and work instructions to accurately assemble parts and equipment.
• Collaborate on the assembly line: Work under the guidance of a lead or supervisor to complete assigned tasks as products move through various stages of assembly.
• Perform fastening operations: Secure components using bolts, clips, screws, and other methods in alignment with process manuals and work orders.
• Maintain performance standards: Consistently meet departmental goals for efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Ensure workplace safety: Adhere to all established safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and compliance with 5S organizational standards.
• Support continuous improvement: Apply LEAN principles to enhance processes and contribute to ongoing operational improvements.
• Additional duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with a variety of hand and air tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints, electronic schematics, and manufacturing instructions
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and metric conversions
• Fluency in English and the primary language used in the work location

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• No prior experience necessary; this is an entry-level position

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to perform frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and reaching during an 8–12 hour shift
• Ability to stand and/or walk continuously throughout the workday
• Moderate physical demand: regularly lift/move 25–50 lbs (11–27 kg) and occasionally lift materials up to 70 lbs (32 kg)

Shifts: Monday - Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm

Pay: $20/Hr
