Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a busy healthcare office located in Olympia, WA, to fill a Temporary Patient Care Coordinator role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to join a growing team in a fast-paced office that is making a difference in the lives of their patients every day.

This position is Temporary and expected to last 4-6 weeks, but it could be shorter or longer depending on the company need. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 8AM-5:00PM. It may also just be 32 hours Monday-Thursday depending on need. Compensation starts at $25/hr.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments
• Answering a high volume of telephone calls in a friendly and helpful manner
• Collecting copayments, deductibles, and other balances due at the time of service.
• Accurately collecting patient demographic and billing information. Scanning insurance cards, documents and updating information in the database as needed
• Have a working knowledge of skin care products and cosmetic services
• Scanning charts and other data entry
• Other duties as requested

What You Bring:

• HS Diploma or GED required
• MUST have a minimum of 1 Year experience in a busy medical office
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Self-motivated and detail oriented
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, busy office environment without becoming stressed out or overwhelmed – proven experience with this is important.
• Basic math skills to add subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
• Computer Skills – ability to  learn new programs quickly and use basic computer programs.
