Supply Chain Specialist

Salary: $23hr-$24hr

Express is currently looking to fill a direct hire role in Brunswick, GA for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist.

The Supply Chain Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring compliance and traceability of products set for distribution. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, aligned with the organization’s commitment to quality and accuracy

Essential Functions

·        Investigate and resolve discrepancies (damages, shortages, overages, etc.) for all products received inbound and sent outbound.

·        Complete exception handling related to incoming shipments including data discrepancies, damaged products, overages, shortages, and product identifier issues.

·        Manage exceptions related to data and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

·        Resolve tickets involving shipment discrepancies, data errors, or system issues.

·        Participate in and lead resolution initiatives and improvement projects independently.

·        Support compliance with efforts through accurate documentation and traceability of products

·        Provide reports and metrics as required

·        Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

·        Assists with related special projects as required.

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent.

·        2+ years of logistics or warehousing experience required

·        Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

·        Commitment to excellence and high standards.

·        Excellent written and oral communication skills.

·        Excellent presentation skills.

·        Ability to work with all levels of management.

·        Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow.

·        Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

·        Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.

·      Other desired Skills, Abilities

•    Experience with ERP systems and processing (NetSuite preferred)

•    Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and strong detail-orientation.
