Mechanical Assembler - $24/hr to $28/hr
Mon-Fri; 6am to 2:30pm

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity to work on mechanical components, subassemblies, and full units, including pumps, frames, and other fabricated machinery parts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fabricated parts using blueprints, mechanical drawings, examples, or verbal instructions
• Read and interpret mechanical prints and specifications
• Test and calibrate mechanical systems and assemblies
• Assemble motors, gearboxes, and drive systems per manufacturer specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, welders, and other shop equipment
• Perform some welding as required
• Package finished products for shipping
• Load trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems and pneumatics
• Some welding experience
• Forklift and overhead crane experience (preferred)
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
• Must supply own basic hand tools
• Willing to submit to pre-employment and random drug screening
