Salary: $11.00 - $13.00+ per hour

Job Title: Forklift Drivers / Material Handlers

Pay: $11.00 – $13.00+ per hour (DOE)

Locations: Pharr, Edinburg and McAllen, TX

Schedule: Multiple shifts available depending on location:

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Overnight/Rotating Shifts: Monday–Friday, 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM
• Overtime and some Saturdays may be required depending on location

 

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals is seeking reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Drivers / Material Handlers for multiple warehouse and logistics facilities across the RGV area. This role involves operating sit-down forklifts, moving and racking pallets, loading/unloading trailers, and performing general warehouse and shipping/receiving tasks. Candidates will also help with inventory tracking, order picking, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down forklifts to move, stack, and relocate materials safely
• Load and unload trailers and shipping containers
• Receive, sort, and identify incoming materials (boxes, pallets, raw and finished goods)
• Use RF scanners or basic computer tools to track inventory and update logs
• Perform daily equipment safety checks
• Assist with general warehouse tasks such as labeling, organizing stock, and housekeeping
• Report damages, shortages, or discrepancies to management
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience required (sit-down forklifts preferred)
• Ability to lift and move materials safely (up to 50 lbs.)
• Basic computer skills (inventory tracking, Microsoft Excel/Word)
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and punctual
• Comfortable working independently or in a team environment
• Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as needed
