Precast Operator – Port Allen

EVALUATION HIRE

$18/hr.

Day Shift 7 am - 3:30 pm

 

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Precast Operator to support the daily production of concrete precast products. This role involves working with molds, preparing materials, operating equipment, and ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards. Training is available for hardworking candidates who are willing to learn and grow within the company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, clean, and prepare concrete molds for daily production

   

• Pour and finish concrete into molds according to specifications

• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and other production equipment

• Strip cured products from molds and perform quality inspections

• Assist with reinforcement placement, measurements, and basic form carpentry

• Perform general labor tasks such as material handling, cleaning, and organizing work areas

• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and production guidelines

• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals and deadlines
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience in precast concrete, construction labor, or manufacturing is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., work in hot/cold environments, and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read measurements and follow instructions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills and work in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.
